Congratulations Wills & Kate!

Okay, so I wasn't even gonna watch the wedding. I was just going to check out the dress afterwards on the internet. BUT I turned on the tv this morning and it was there. And I was transfixed! I just had time to watch the congregation and royals arrive, Princes William and Harry looked dashing. And then Kate!! In that dress! It was so beautiful I must admit I got a little emotional (shhh). Especially when she walked up the aisle, and at the altar he turned to her and you could lip-read him telling her that she looked beautiful. :')

Enough cuteness already!

The dress, designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. Cream and ivory silk, laid with appliques of chantilly lace. The lace was designed specifically for the dress to include symbols of Britain.

Got me really in the British mood...

Workk

This week I'm having lots of meetings and interviews for summer internships. Today I was offered one with the company that produces all of the jewellery for the major high-street retailers such as Topshop and Miss Selfridge. I also had a meeting with some ladies at Start Boutique, owned by the fabulous Brix Smith-Start (though unfortunately I didn't get to meet her). I will hear from them soon...In the mean time I have another appointment tomorrow with the designer jewellery brand Violet Darkling. Phew!
Hi me!

Hippie hair

I got my hair cut yesterday (you can't tell from this picture haha). There is one girl here I let touch it every few months when I'm over, and other than that it's just growing. Almost packed for my flight back to London tonight. At least I'll be arriving to warm weather there...

San Fran-disco

I just spent a long weekend exploring San Francisco for the first time. It reminded me of a cross between Austin and NYC!

Now that trip is over I'm in Houston and leave for London tomorrow night. More packing and more travelling!! So tired of planes and long flights.
